Bakery Shop and Tearoom
Baking For You Tearoom and Shop
The bakery is conveniently situated opposite the popular Alexandra Park in the Haghill, Dennistoun area of Glasgow. There is free street parking nearby and our tea room has easy access for wheelchairs.
We have been successfully trading in the east end of Glasgow since the early 70's. Our shop built its reputation on our quality hand made products baked on the premises and sold to customers over the counter at reasonable cost. Until recently, the fresh selection of hot and cold rolls, pies, soup, toasties and cakes were for takeaway. Now, our business has expanded through to the premises next door and we now offer a traditional Glasgow tearoom where customers can sit in and enjoy what we sell over the counter.
New Shop Opening Soon
We are expanding with a new takeaway shop in the Gorbals area in April 2013. The shop will sell hot and cold filled rolls and sandwiches as well as our popular range of freshly baked sausage rolls, pies, pastries, cakes, cookies and doughnuts.
Raymond McNeill, proprietor, said: "This is a great opportunity to continue my good business relationships with my neighbour Mr Mirza. He owns Nisa next to my bakery and has a shop in Ballater Street. I feel the new Gorbals is a growing area and I want to offer the people who live and work there our range of quality baked products at a competitive price."
Glasgow City Council and private investors are improving the area and attracting people to move in. There is a new development of flats being built nearby and Strathclyde Distillery, famous for their Chivas Regal brand, is across the road from the shop.
The shop will open 7 days a week from 7am to 4pm and this will change according to customer requirements.
